Dennis Rodman gifts Trump book on North Korea visit

Dennis Rodman has presented a North Korean minister with a copy of Donald Trump's book on the final day of his action packed tour of the communist country.

The former basketballer handed over The Art Of The Deal to the sports minister during a meeting on a restaurant boat on Taedong River.

A supporter of Mr Trump, Rodman appeared on the US Celebrity Apprentice, and earlier this week said he thought the President would be "pretty happy" about his visit.

US officials have denied the sportsman's visit is an authorised mission, insisting he has travelled to North Korea as a private citizen.

On Friday, he also visited Pyongyang zoo, spending time looking at the lions, tigers and camels, and the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, where he watched performances by deaf dancers and blind singers.

However, it is not known if Rodman met up with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during the five-day trip, which he said was an attempt "to open a door" with the isolated country.

A member of the ex-Chicago Bull star's entourage said Rodman was "going to try to bring peace between the two nations".
