Earthquake recorded in North Korea suspected explosion, China's earthquake administration says

A magnitude 3.4 earthquake has been detected in North Korea, China's earthquake administration says.

The earthquake is reported to have occurred near a nuclear test site and previous quakes have occurred during weapons' tests.

Chinese seismologists said it was a "suspected explosion", the state news agency reports.

But South Korea says that it could be a natural earthquake, rather than one caused by a nuclear test.
