Six injured and part of M40 in Oxfordshire had to be shut for several hours after a crash



Six people have been injured and part of the M40 in Oxfordshire had to be shut for several hours after a crash involving five vehicles.

 
One vehicle is thought to have overturned in the crash, which happened between junctions 10 and 11, near Banbury, at 23:40 GMT on Saturday.


Four people were taken to hospital.


The M40 was shut in both directions overnight for about three hours but the northbound carriageway has since reopened.
